ADDENDUM
Part I - Listing Style
The ability to toggle the listing of the Documents in a Directory or Folder
between alphabetical and date order has been added. Below is an
illustration of the bottom portion of the Main Menu with Date order select.
Select "L" and press the mouse the in appropriate box and Alphabetic will
be selected.
NOTES: 1) Date order lists the documents from most recent to oldest
by date the document was created.
2) If you have been using an earlier version of the Folders
System, it may be necessary upon restarting the Folders
System after upgrading to:
a) Select a Directory to be used - all your previously
created Directories will then become available; and
b) Re-enter the changes you have made to the SetUp
of the program (ENTER: Utilities, then Setup). Part II - WordPerfect Ver. 6.0 [DOS]
The Folders System has been upgraded to work with WordPerfect for DOS
Ver. 6.0. It works in all respects as earlier versions with WordPerfect 5.1,
with the following exceptions:
Non-standard installations
If you are not using the standard installation of WordPerfect 6.0,
install the following files in the same directory with your
WordPerfect program files:
FOLDERS.EXE
FOLDERS.HLP
FOLDERS.SHW
MAILLIST.HLP
MAILLIST.OVR
WPSTART.BAT
WPSTOP.BAT
Copy the following files from the Folders System disk to
subdirectory containing WordPerfect 6.0 macros (Usually a sub-
directory called MACROS under the directory where the
WordPerfect 6.0 program files are installed):
ALTQ.WP6
ALTX.WP6
CVNMACRO.WP6
SAVEGOON.WP6
SAVEQUIT.WP6
Note: The macro files with the extension .WP6, once copied into the
appropriate WordPerfect 6.0 directory, will have to be renamed. Do this by:
1. Logging on to the sub-directory where the macro
files are located; and
2. Enter REN *.WP6 *.WPM
SAMPLE.MR6 is a sample of the merge format for WordPerfect
6.0 and should be placed where convenient as a reference.
Use of Macros with Files
Macros used in conjunction with document files (see Page 3 of Manual,
"Explanation of Commands", "CREATE") will not become effective until the
document has been created, viewed and saved (using AltQ). This is necessary
since the Folders System, in order to work properly with Ver. 6.0 of
WordPerfect, itself uses a macro to create a new document.
